Recent News - Summer 2011

The pupils of Saint Mary's had a great time in our Rainforest Week in Summer 2011. They enjoyed visiting Bristol Zoo, dressing as rainforest explorers and visiting our school hall - transformed into a rainforest for the week!

All pupils enjoyed school trips in the summer and year 5 and 6 went on residential visits. Year 5 had a retreat weekend at Kilve Court in June, while Year 6 spent a week in Torquay.

Our Year 6 leavers showed their star quality in their end of term musical, 'Man With A Mission', portraying the life of Saint Paul in drama, singing and dancing.

We were delighted with the outcome of our recent OFSTED inspection (May 2011), in which St Mary's was recognised as an outstanding school. Click to find out more
